Adaptation & Containment

As we follow the developments in the fields of conflict, we see that Iran is facing major problems at this stage because its opponent, the USA, has shown good adaptability in the field.
The principle of balance, counterattack & symmetry of center and application of a force. The principle of energy balance connects the application of an energy force and the symmetry of correspondence as to the center that produces this force. Either a weak center must be in balance with the application of a soft force externally, otherwise we have the phenomenon of someone simply reacting without the corresponding tangible results. Or someone who has a strong center also exercises the analogical power externally. A period has passed where the US military command warned that they had reached the limits between the application of hard power and results and further application of the same strategy would tip the balance against them. This brought a state of emergency with small attacks on coastal radars and control units of the Iranian army. At the same time, the Americans removed mines from the Strait of Hormuz with high-level and technological night ships and undertook to accompany ships through the straits during the night, taking care to destroy any Iranian radar and also applying naval and greater economic sanctions. We see that this rapid adaptability and technological superiority gave an advantage.
Iran, applying the principle of containment of the large expanse of the country and underground facilities, reached its limits as all these infrastructures are purely defensive and cannot project serious initiative power in large maritime areas such as the Persian Gulf or an Ocean.
So having the capacity and adaptability we observe that the time limits of a situation are recognized or not and are a basic criterion for redesigning strategy and initiative.
According to Miyamoto Musashi in the art of war to have victory you need to develop initiative. He who prepares only defensively without taking care of his counterattack cannot hope for victory. Patience and containment alone do not produce results on the field. It is patience with the ability to quickly adapt that in combination with the recognition of the appropriate time and having in mind limits that bring results of controlling a situation. It is also important that someone has the required energy along with patience but also the distinction for this undertaking of a new initiative. That is, he can respond quickly, does not react spasmodically, accommodates the opponent's reaction and adapts, does not take it personally. Otherwise, the illusion of control and the lack of contact with reality leads, as in the case of Iran, to the idea that it controls the Strait of Hormuz and critical energy flows or that it wants to play a global role gradually ending.
